Platinum Circle

The Platinum Circle at Narika is comprised of influential patrons dedicated to supporting Narika’s mission through financial, networking, and other means. Membership is by invitation only and based on prior involvement with Narika, nonprofit experience, or commitment to our goals & mission.

Platinum Circle members engage in critical work such as:

  • Building and increasing awareness about domestic violence

  • Increasing community participation through their sphere of influence

  • Creating awareness for Narika’s programs and resources

  • Increasing Narika's fundraising by hosting events, generating donations, attending Narika's Annual Gala, obtaining sponsorships and creating key community connections

  • Creating a platform for the continued involvement of tenured board members, who are well versed with Narika’s work and mission.

Member Benefits & Contributions

Members will be invited to an attend an exclusive Platinum Circle event. Member names will be displayed on our website's platinum page and events. Contributions/fundraising start at $10K, with the opportunity to continue every year.

Meet out platinum circle members

Seema Mittal

Seema Mittal is a licensed architect and has run her residential architecture and interior design practice firm, Perspectives Design Inc, in the South Bay for over twenty years. She has an M.Arch from the University of Minnesota and a B.Arch from IIT, Roorkee.

Seema has always been a strong believer in women’s empowerment. Growing up, she noticed patterns of patriarchy, subservience, control, and programming of women in both subtle and blatant ways. She joined the Narika Board in 2018 with a goal to make a difference in the lives of many who either never got a chance to experience independence and dignity, or got derailed on the way.

A passionate patron of the visual and performing arts, she volunteers as a set designer for the productions of the Bay Area Drama Company. She travels as often as she can, on an insatiable quest to experience global culture and architecture.

Vanita Aggarwal

Vanita is an experienced healthcare professional at Kaiser Permanente where she is leading digital transformation to drive business efficiencies. She is also very passionate about improving her community. She believes the measure of a person’s life is the effect they have on other people. Apart from being on the board of Narika she is also the founding Board Member of the India Community Center in the Tri-Valley.

Vanita is very passionate about women’s empowerment. Having raised two very strong daughters, Vanita believes that women are unstoppable. True to Narika’s mission, she is committed to supporting survivors of domestic abuse by guiding them in matters of their financial freedom.

In her free time, Vanita likes to cook, listen to music, and explore nature’s beauty while hiking. She also likes to spend time with her family and travel the world.
