NARIKA’s mission is to promote women’s independence and economic empowerment by helping domestic violence survivors with advocacy, support, information, referrals, and education.

Founded in 1992, we believe in an informal familial model of service, engaging crisis survivors as sisters rather than clients, and providing assistance in several South Asian languages. Please email or call us if you would like to speak to any one of our sensitive and knowledgeable advocates.

OUR MISSION

Last year alone, Narika’s advocates fielded over 1500 calls
and emails to our Helpline, a majority of them being requests
for assistance from South Asian women who were survivors
of some form of domestic violence either by partners or
their families.

Email us today if you would like more information about
our Helpline program.
