TESTIMONIALS

Emma. / Volunteer
I volunteer at NARIKA by watching the kids in childcare. I volunteer mainly because I love to play with the kids, but also because all the different cultures there make it such an interesting place full of experiences, and the members and staff make the community there so great.

Farhana Sobhan / Volunteer Coordinator
I am passionate about the work that Narika does, and believe that the cycle of violence towards women must end by educating ourselves and our communities, and through leading by example for our future generations. I believe Narika’s mission can only be carried out by the countless hours and effort put in by our amazing volunteers! So, thank you for your enthusiasm, your support, and commitment to Narika.

Kanika Helpline support line offers support via peer counseling, safety planning, and referrals for needed resources. Very often our support line is used as a safe space for survivors to openly share details of their lives including the abuse they survive.
